Bovine Reproduction Courses Offered:
Our 4.5-day (50 hour) Comprehensive Embryo Transfer Training Course is designed for dairy or beef cattle breeders who would like to perform embryo transfer on their own cattle. It is also intended for large animal and mixed-practice veterinarians who wish to add MOET services to their practice.
In the ET Course Students palpate synchronized cattle to learn how to isolate ovaries and identify ovarian structures. Live animals are also used for practice in catheter placement, embryo collection (flushing) and transfer technique. Students learn how to freeze/thaw embryos, grade embryos, and transfer embryos.
PREREQISITE: Student must already be competent in AI techniques.
ATTENTION VETERINARIANS: This Course Is RACE-Approved for 50 Hours of Continuing Education for Veterinarians and Veterinary Technicians in Jurisdictions Which Recognize the American Association of Veterinary State Boards RACE Approval.

Our 6.5 Days (65 Hours) hands-on Combined Artificial Insemination & Comprehensive Bovine Embryo Transfer Training Course is designed for Beginners in Cattle Reproduction. This course is tailored to students with limited knowledge in cattle reproduction.
The Bovine Artificial Insemination portion of the course students learn estrous synchronization, palpating the cervix, and negotiating the AI gun through the cervix. Students continue practicing AI throughout the week while learning ET.
The Bovine Embryo Transfer portion of the course Students palpate synchronized cattle to learn how to isolate ovaries and identify ovarian structures. Live animals are also used for practice in catheter placement, embryo collection (flushing) and transfer technique. Students learn how to freeze/thaw embryos, grade embryos, and transfer embryos.
PREREQISITE:There are no academic prerequisites for this course. All one needs is the enthusiasm to learn a new technology.

Our 2.5-day (20 hour) Ovum Pick-Up (OPU) Course is open to dairy or beef cattle breeders, and veterinarians. It provides you with a foundation of knowledge and hands-on skills for successful implementation of oocyte aspiration and lab techniques within your own dairy or beef herd, or if you plan to offer OPU services to your clients.
PREREQISITE: Students must be experienced in palpation, AI and embryo transfer or have taken the ET course with us.

Our 1.5-day (12 hour) Thawing & Implanting Bovine Embryos Course delivers comprehensive, hands-on instruction in “best practices” for transferring frozen/thawed IVF & MOET produced cattle embryos. The course is designed for dairy or beef cattle breeders, and large animal or mixed-practice veterinarians who intend to receive and transfer frozen embryos produced through IVF or MOET.
Students learn how to correctly Thaw & Transfer Bovine Embryos. Students palpate synchronized cattle to learn how to isolate ovaries and identify ovarian structures.
PREREQISITE: Students must already be competent in AI techniques.
